A Card for Amy

Every Tuesday Splitcoaststampers has a challenge to send cards to someone in need of paper hugs and encouragement. July16, 2024.

the card was created with Honey Bee Tulip dies and wooden 16 crate. The lattice is from Pink and Main. The papers used are recollections White and blue. The flower and leaves were dry brushed with Tim Holtz oxide inks in tumbled glass, pine needles and chipped sapphire along with Stampin Ups starry sky.

Summer Puffs

Watercolor Wednesday for August 28, 2024, challenge was to create a watercolor using Kleenex to form your flowers by dabbing up the watercolor with the Kleenex. Here is my creation with my own twist on the flowers. and background. 90lb watercolor paper was used.

Trumpet Honeysuckle

I created this card for the weekly ABC challenge for the week of Tuesday August 13, 2024 on Splitcoaststampers. The challenge was to create a card in the colors or a honeysuckle or watercolor a Honeysuckle. I chose to watercolor a trumpet honeysuckle. 90lb watercolor paper was used.

Missing You

I created this card for Water Color Wednesday on Splitcoaststampers for the week end 8/24/2024. The Challenge was to create a rainbow. I decided to create my rainbow in pastel watercolors and create hearts in remembrance of my deceased husband.

Carolina Sunrise

This week on Teapot Tuesday at Splitcoaststampers we are sending our creations to each other on the last Tuesday of the month. This week our challenge was to create a card for a vacation/staycation. I chose to create a card using a picture of a sunrise I took. I have not traveled in the last 2 years. My life was focused here at home on the beach. It is a time I'm able to meditate waiting for the sunrise before the tourists wake up.

I used Spellbinders Seashell embossing folder and seashell dies. I created the message on word.
